Made by two sisters on the Big Island of Hawai‘i. Arie draws every print by hand. Aeva shapes the styles. The fabric is recycled, soft, and returns to its shape after a full day in the water, which is where we test everything, because it is where we spend our time.
Drawn and shaped by hand
Arie draws each element by hand in Procreate. A shell, a leaf, the line of a wave. Each one is saved as its own asset, then combined and layered into the finished print. A single pattern can take days, or months.
Aeva shapes the styles. She works in CLO3D, obsessing over how a cut is shaped to flatter the body, refitting until it does.
